Hello!
My name is Yash Verma and this is my blog for IEOR 190G. A little about myself for those who don't know me all that well, I am a third year Economics major and Public Policy minor at UC Berkeley. I am part of a AEZ, a South Asian professional fraternity on campus. In addition to school, I am a big fan of television and enjoy a wide variety of shows. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, throwing around a frisbee, and trying out all the food that Berkeley has to offer. I am originally from San jose, California and currently reside in Fremont, California.
I am a huge Bay Area sports fan and am an avid watcher of the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco Giants. I love to learn diverse things and that is why at Berkeley, I take classes in a wide variety of subjects. After Berkeley, I hope to go into consulting and then onto MBA school.
Hi Yash,
ReplyDeleteI just want to say GO GIANTS! :)
Cheers
Rae
Hi Yash! I am so glad to have more Econ/ non-engineering students take the class-- I think it makes the discussions really interesting! What motivated you to join AEZ and why do you like it? Also, I love TV too! What TV shows do you watch? :) I'm not too much into sports, but my brother is a huge Golden State Warriors fan. Also what is your favorite restaurant at Berkeley? Econ/Public Policy --> consulting --> MBA sounds like a really good track. I'm glad you are taking this class-- I think it will be invaluable to you.
ReplyDeleteHi Yash,
ReplyDeleteGreat to meet you. Although I don't agree with your favorite sports teams, I do appreciate your passion for sports! What are the sorts of activities you do in Alpha Epsilon Zeta?
See you in class,
Roshan
Hi Yash,
ReplyDeleteIn terms of your fraternity, what is the professional aspect of it? I'm interested in possibly rushing next year in the fall. I too love to work out and throw frisbees around. Have you tried frisbee golf? Definitely something to try if you haven't yet. Excited to see what more this class has to offer!
Best of luck,
Saravana
